The Drink Bandit
Tear and wear wrist and drink ID bracelets
The Problem... There is a children's birthday party, and identical "Juice Boxes" (or any other
beverage/drink) are given out to every child. Now, it is time to play a game, so all the children come up to
the table, put their Juice Box down, and go play the game. When the game is over, they all go running
back to the table, but don't know which Juice Box is theirs. So, they either leave the Juice Box (resulting
in waste), or they grab the wrong Juice Box and drink from it (ingesting any germs that the original
drinker may have).
The Solution.... The Drink Bandit: Each child will be given a brightly colored band (The Drink Bandit); the
band breaks into a set of two. Let's say Johnny is given a bright green Drink Bandit. He will tear the set
apart and place one bright green band on his wrist and place the other bright green band on his Juice
Box. So, when Johnny comes back from playing the game he easily identifies which drink belongs to
him – it’s the one with the bright green Drink Bandit!
At a typical party, BBQ or other social event, people drink beverages. As routinely happens, drinks get set
down amid a myriad of other cups or beverages belonging to other party goers. As a result, the
individual who set their drink down may subsequently have difficulty identifying which beverage belongs
to them, resulting in either abandonment of the drink (leading to waste), or causing the accidental
consumption of a drink belonging to someone else. Although consuming a beverage of another may
simply seem mildly inappropriate given the circumstances, such consumption may also carry a risk of
exposure to a contagious illness – thus the need for The Drink Bandit.
The Drink Bandit:
Comes in many stylish colors,
Is inexpensive, so if they happen to go home on the wrist of the party goer they are easily replaced
Is re-useable – simply wash with soap and warm water to use again, which makes The Drink Bandit
environmentally friendly
Comes in a poly bag with 10 multi-colored sets of bracelets.
